Community RL: New boss Benn issues '˜no repeat' order after late-game collapse

NEW BOSS Jamie Benn is demanding a stronger finish from his Hunslet Warriors side when they face Ince Rose Bridge in tomorrow's first home game in National Conference Division One.

Warriors collapsed in the final 10 minutes of last week’s 42-20 defeat at Milford Marlins and spokeswoman Pam Crosby said: “Jamie has expressed his disappointment.

“He expects players to have learned from their mistakes and will not accept any repeats this week.”

Warriors are still without Johnny Dawson (working) and injured wingers Lee West and Bryn Powell, but powerful forward Lloyd Templeton is back in contention.

Unbeaten Milford will have to make changes for the visit of another team with a 100 per cent record, Underbank Rangers.

Ryan Oxtoby is unavailable so Craig Harrison will step up from the second team. Steve Bacon and Sam Morton are also in contention, but Dwayne Barker (ankle) is ruled out and Australian hooker Regan Cooper (hand) is an injury doubt.

East Leeds will welcome back Ben Walkin, Adam Hartley, Jordan Normington and Shane Plunkett for tomorrow’s Division Two game at unbeaten leaders Crosfields and Mark Greenwood could make his first appearance of the season after injury.

Oulton Raiders play host to Askam. Stanningley are at home to Stanley Rangers in Division Three.
