‘O’ is also for...Old Trafford.

Rhinos first appearance at Manchester United’s ground was almost 62 years ago.

On November 5, 1958, Salford hosted Leeds under the floodlights at Old Trafford, the Loiners winning 22-17 thanks to tries by Garry Hemingway (2), Del Hodgkinson and Lewis Jones, who kicked five goals.

Leeds’ next appearance at Old Trafford is best forgotten, a 69-12 rout by Wigan in the 1995 Premiership Trophy final. They have since won eight and lost two Grand Finals on the same ground.
