YEP readers react to European Super League plans

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Spurs and Liverpool are amongst 12 clubs who have agreed to join a new European Super League

The announcement sparked anger throughout the football world, resulting in reports that these clubs would no longer be able to participate in domestic football or even international fixtures.

Here is how Leeds residents and Whites' fans reacted to the news - is the European Super League a bad idea?

Mark Sanderson - "I want to see Leeds in the Champions League because we finished higher than these so called big teams. Not by default."

Richard Lawrence - "Not bothered."

Marc Blackburn - "Yes, it's anti football, the fans need to rise up."

Jake Smyth - ""Well it's the only way Leeds will win silverware!"

Barry Ohagan - "If Man City join I will find another club - likely Leeds or Hull which are both nearer to where I now live."
