Key Battle - Timm Klose v Chris Wood

If ever there was a time to get stuck into Norwich’s defence, this is it. Chris Wood found chinks of light in it during last week’s League Cup tie at Elland Road and Brighton absolutely savaged it over the weekend. Wood has never been in better form for Leeds and with 10 goals to his name, his confidence should be sky-high. Norwich’s might well be shot.

Key Man - Russell Martin

Norwich’s captain is one of several people who need to lead the club out of the corner they are in. It was Martin who came out and spoke out after their 5-0 thrashing at Brighton on Saturday, accusing players of “giving up” and describing the result as “humiliating”. That’s a real shot across the bows and City reaction to it will be telling.

Phil Hay’s view: “Both line-ups will show numerous changes from the clubs’ recent meeting in the EFL Cup but the dynamic at Carrow Road should be different too. Norwich were leading the Championship not so long ago but their recent results have put huge pressure on a side who are expected to finish in the top two.

“Monk is warning of the possibility of a big reaction from City - but Leeds must fancy their chances of getting a result.”
