Key Battle - Dan Potts v Hadi Sacko

Sacko’s game came into its own at Hillsborough and in that sort of form you’d imagine that Garry Monk would be keen to keep his impetus going. Sacko’s final ball took time to click against Sheffield Wednesday but his pace was an asset throughout and Monk will want to get at Luton in the same manner. Changes are likely tonight but United’s head coach can’t afford to disregard this fixture - despite the importance of Forest away on Saturday.

Key Man - Cameron McGeehan

The Northern Ireland midfielder is on a hot streak with four goals to his name already this season. He scored in Luton’s impressive first-round win over Aston Villa and came up with a brace in a 2-1 victory over Newport County seven days ago. His strike against Stevenage on Saturday could not avert Luton’s first defeat of the term but it serves as another warning for Monk’s players.

Goals: Luton - Parkin 90. Leeds - Huntington 27.

Phil Hay’s view: “This is as difficult a tie as Fleetwood away - at a tight, hostile ground and against a team who’ve started the term with seven points from a possible 12.

“That tally has been good enough to put Luton in League Two’s top three but Leeds should be bouncing after their win at Hillsborough and the changes made by Monk this evening should not stop them progressing. Just don’t expect the result to be easy.”

Match odds:

Home win - 11/5

Away win - 7/5
