Adama Traore was responsible for creating the only goal of the game as his rocket of a shot cannoned back off the woodwork and then Illan Meslier's back before trickling over the line in the 64th minute.
Graham Smyth, the YEP's chief football writer, hands out the scores.

. Illan Meslier
8 - Made a number of good saves in the first half, came for corners well. Didn't deserve to concede in the way he did. Photo by CATHERINE IVILL/POOL/AFP via Getty Images.

. Luke Ayling
7 - A solid performance at right-back. Neto did trouble him but never really got past him to break Leeds' defensive line. Photo by Catherine Ivill/Getty Images.

. Liam Cooper
8 - A very good performance. Gave the centre-forward a hard time, intercepted and tackled well. Only disappointment was his finishing. Could have had a hat-trick. Photo by Nick Potts - Pool/Getty Images.

. Pascal Struijk
8 - Assured, next to his captain. Some nice passes, dealt with the ball well, tackled well and intercepted high up the pitch when he could. Photo by Nick Potts - Pool/Getty Images.

. Stuart Dallas
7 - Worked hard to battle Traore. Wasn't able to link up with Harrison regularly enough. Popped up inside to help Leeds progress play. Photo by Catherine Ivill/Getty Images.

13. Gjanni Alioski (sub)
N/A - Impact wasn't huge off the bench but came on late in the game. Photo by Catherine Ivill/Getty Images.

14. Helder Costa (sub)
N/A - Should have scored. Like Alioski, was a late substitute. Photo by Catherine Ivill/Getty Images.

15. David Coote (referee)
7 - A little fussy at times but tried to clamp down on time wasting and there was little controversy. Photo by George Wood/Getty Images.
