Will Patrick Bamford overtake Dominic Calvert-Lewin? Leeds United fancied against Everton as Whites seek another Premier League 'first'

LEEDS United are marginal favourites to complete the double over Everton tonight in search of a third-straight Premier League win for the first time since their top-flight return.

Marcelo Bielsa's Whites recorded a 1-0 victory at Goodison Park in November thanks to Raphinha's 79th-minute winner and Leeds are generally 6-4 to beat the Toffees again at Elland Road and a best-priced 161-100.

The outright market is very close with Carlo Ancelotti's side no bigger than 37-20 whilst the draw is on offer at 27-10.

Eleventh-placed Leeds would go just one point behind the eighth-placed Toffees with a victory - albeit having played a game more - and United are now available at 100-1 to be relegated.

Eight sides, including Wolves and Crystal Palace, are rated more likely for the drop and the Whites are now only 13-8 for a top-half finish (12th in that particular list).

Tonight's visitors Everton are looking to bounce back from Saturday's 2-0 loss at home to Newcastle United but Toffees main marksman Dominic Calvert-Lewin is marginally favourite to score first at 9-2 and only 13-10 to net at any time.

DCL is seen as marginally more likely that United's no 9 Patrick Bamford who is 24-5 to score first and 7-5 as an any time scorer.

Bamford was limping after Sunday's 3-1 win at Leicester City but told Sky Sports afterwards it was just a dead leg.

He and Calvert-Lewin both have 11 goals each for the Premier League campaign and sit joint third along with Leicester City's Jamie Vardy in the Premier League Golden Boot race which is led by Liverpool's Mo Salah on 15.

Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min plus Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes are all on 12.

As far as tonight's clash at Elland Road is concerned, with Rodrigo injured, Whites Academy star Sam Greenwood is third favourite to score first at 15-2 though the 19-year-old has been prominent in the first scorer markets for some weeks despite having never made a league bench.

Perhaps his time will come against the Toffees.

But Tyler Roberts is next in the market at 9s and the same price as Everton's deadline day recruit and Norway international striker Josh King who has been recruited from Bournemouth.

Everton duo James Rodriguez and Richarlison are both 10s, in addition to Whites winger Raphinha.

Pablo Hernandez and Jack Harrison are then both 11s and Helder Costa (12s).

No goalscorer is 14s, the same price as Everton's Bernard to net first, followed by Mateusz Klich and Gylfi Sigurdsson who are both 16s.

Even lower down, Everton duo Alex Iwobi (17s) and Abdoulaye Doucoure (20s) both look big odds, and even more so United's Stuart Dallas who is 22-1 to score first and 15-2 as any time scorer.

Perhaps not surprisingly in such a tight market, a 1-1 draw is clear favourite in the correct score market at 37-5 followed by a 2-1 win for the Whites at 10s.

Everton to win by the same score is 21-2 but Leeds just shade favouritism in the match market in their search for a third successive Premier League win for the first time upon their top-flight return.
