Leeds United will head into a tough-looking visit to Championship rivals Stoke City knowing they can move to within three points of the automatic promotion places if results go their way elsewhere and they win at the Bet365 Stadium.
Daniel Farke’s men make the trip in good heart after their stunning comeback in Saturday’s 3-2 win at Norwich City extended their impressive recent run of form to just one defeat in their last eight games and gave them a fourth victory in their last five Championship fixtures. Despite their lowly position in the second tier, the hosts also go into the game on a positive note after manager Alex Neil celebrated a 2-1 home win against former club Sunderland at the weekend that ended a run of four defeats in their last five games in all competitions.
With all eyes now on Wednesday night’s clash, both managers have given updates on the availability of several key players as their respective sides look to build on their weekend wins.
