Leeds United are already preparing to return to action after picking up all three points on their return to action on Saturday. It was a dramatic return to Norwich City for Daniel Farke, who saw his men go two goals down at Carrow Road.

But Crysencio Summerville had other ideas, scoring a brace to add to an own goal, with Leeds returning with all three points to move up to third place. The Whites have now won their last three games in a row and only tasted defeat once in their last 1 Championship fixtures. Still, the top two remains out of reach for now after the incredible starts made by Leicester City and Ipswich Town. Still, the automatic promotion spots will now become Leeds’ aim, and their next challenge is a Wednesday night clash with Stoke City away from home.

The Potters secured a big win of their own last time out, defeating Sunderland to pick up only their fourth victory of the season, and their aim will be to avoid any sort of relegation battle this term. They will go into the Leeds clash with confidence, but Sky Sports pundit David Prutton expects the Whites to come out on top.

“That was a huge result for Alex Neil on Saturday. To take a win against his old Sunderland side was badly needed and should give them some confidence,” Prutton wrote for Sky Sports. “But they run into a Leeds side in form, and who showed their resilience against Norwich on Saturday, battling back from two down to win 3-2. I think this is another three Leeds points, and I don’t think it will be as tough for them as it was at Carrow Road.”
