Pascal Struijk signs new Leeds United deal

Struijk joined the Whites from Ajax in January 2018 and made his debut in the 2-0 Championship victory against Hull City in December 2019 after featuring regularly for the Under-23s.

The Dutch defender then made five league appearances last season as Leeds went up as champions and the 21-year-old has taken another step forward this season in already having four outings in the Premier League.

Also able to play as a holding midfielder, Struijk has now penned new terms with the Whites ahead of this weekend's return to Premier League action at home to Arsenal in Sunday's 4.30pm kick-off.

Struijk is the second Whites defender to sign a new deal in the space of 24 hours with Academy graduate Charlie Creswell also signing terms until the summer of 2023 on Thursday.
