Seven games without a win
It’s been a tough run for Mark Jackson’s side in the Premier League 2 of late.
They are without a win in their last seven games which has seen them slide down the table into 12th place in the top tier of academy football.
The U23s have been impacted heavily by the first team injury crisis but will be hoping to pick up three points to steer themselves back up the table.
United have 12 points from 12 games and sit above Blackburn and Derby who currently hold the two drop zone spots.
Man City, meanwhile, have collected 21 points from their 12 games which sees them sit in fourth position.
Bamford and Ayling to feature
Leeds United first teamers Patrick Bamford and Luke Ayling are set to feature this evening in Manchester.
The pair have both been missing since mid September with injuries and are looking to gain some competitive minutes as they step up their returns.
Marcelo Bielsa will be hoping the two can provided a boost to his squad with Premier League games coming thick and fast.
Leeds host Crystal Palace tomorrow night before a clash against Brentford on Sunday.
