- FULL-TIME: Manchester City (Lavia red card) 3-2 Leeds United
Stop-start
14. Very stop-start in the last few minutes. Ayling seeing plenty of the ball, Bamford making plenty of forward runs. Leeds yet to really settle into possession which is to City’s credit. The hosts have been the more threatening side.
City pressure
11. A couple of corners for the hosts... Bamford heads away the second. Bate and Ayling tidy up before Leeds win a free-kick.
City chance
9. It’s a biggie... Leeds are caught down the left. Bolton is into the box, he squares and Palmer has the whole goal to aim at but he lifts his shot over the bar from inside the six-yard box.
Ayling flop
8. Never thought an Ayling flop would be greeted with quite a cheer. He wins one on halfway.
City hit the bar
5. First effort on goal from either team... it’s City. Palmer loops an effort from distance and it smacks Klaesson’s bar. Busy start.
City corner
4. Palmer gets into the area and looks to cross low, Kenneh is over to prod the ball behind to halt the attack. Greenwood hooks away the corner.
Good pressing from Leeds
3. Man City knock it round well at the back to start the game. Bamford the latest to pressure his man, he wins the ball but the referee says unfairly. Free-kick. Steady start.
