Leeds United are about to enter the final 24 hours of their 2026 summer transfer window - and it could be a busy one. The Whites remain in the market for reinforcements across a few positions, namely in attacking areas where so far only Harry Wilson has arrived.
Quality at left-wing has been a priority all summer, with interest in the likes of Julian Brandt, Igor Paixao and more recently Mykhailo Mudryk. Leeds could also do with added depth at striker following Joel Piroe’s exit, while a potential hamstring injury for Joe Rodon could force a defensive move.
On the outgoing front, Willy Gnonto feels the most likely exit with Fiorentina in talks over a loan move but Leeds are unlikely to sanction anything unless a new winger arrives. With that in mind, the YEP has rounded up the latest on every story ahead of deadline day.

13. James Trafford
Leeds agreed a club-record £40m deal for the 23-year-old goalkeeper, who has come straight into the team as first-choice. Trafford penned a five-year contract at Elland Road. | Getty Images

14. Zion Suzuki
Reports from the Italian side went as far as to suggest offers made and terms agreed, but that was never our understanding. Leeds liked Suzuki and he was on a list of potential options but Trafford was always the priority. | Getty Images

15. Kjell Scherpen
Like Suzuki, Scherpen was someone Leeds recruitment chiefs were aware of but there was never an active pursuit of the Dutch goalkeeper. He's since joined Ipswich Town in a deal worth £11m.

16. Orlando Gill
Leeds were linked with interest in the Paraguay goalkeeper earlier this month, with a back-up to Trafford needed. The YEP understood Gill was on a list of options but the club eventually went elsewhere. | Getty Images
17. Michael Zetterer
Leeds signed the experienced goalkeeper to a three-year contract last week, following the agreement of a £4.3m fee with Eintracht Frankfurt. He will be Trafford's back-up. | LUFC
18. Tarik Muharemovic
Leeds confirmed the £34.1m signing of Muharemovic earlier this summer with the Bosnian signing a five-year contract. Like Trafford, he's come straight into the starting-XI and been excellent. | LUFC
