Leeds United reveal 2026-27 squad numbers with new no 10 plus James Trafford and Tarik Muharemovic changes

Leeds United have revealed their squad numbers for the new 2026-27 Premier League season featuring a new no 10 and shirts for Academy prospects.

As expected, the biggest change of all sees the club’s record £40m signing James Trafford take over the no 1 goalkeeping jersey as Lucas Perri who is expected to depart the club is given the no 23 shirt.

Other big changes see £34.1m centre-back arrival Tarik Muharemovic claiming the free number 5 jersey vacated by Pascal Struijk whilst fellow summer signing Harry Wilson becomes the club’s new no 10, the shirt left free following Joel Piroe’s exit to West Ham.

Nico Elvedi, the club’s most recent signing of the summer, is given the no 30 jersey whilst several Academy prospects have also had their numbers confirmed.

Fresh from impressing in pre-season, Callum Mills is given the no 72 shirt with Alfie Cresswell no 50 and Rhys Chadwick no 47.

Jayden Lienou is given the no 65 shirt with Sam Chambers no 42.
