Robert Snodgrass serves up exceptional Leeds United praise with declaration about fans and survival bid help

Robert Snodgrass is eyeing ‘help’ for Leeds United in the club’s survival bid.

Former Leeds United favourite Robert Snodgrass has served up exceptional Leeds United praise in highlighting a big help in the club’s Premier League survival bid.

Classy winger Snodgrass made 191 appearances during four years with Leeds whom the Glaswegian helped back into the Championship from League One in 2010.

Thirteen years after leaving Leeds for Norwich City in July 2012, his former club are now looking to survive their first season back in the Premier League following promotion as Championship champions.

The last six teams promoted to English football’s top flight have all gone straight back down but Snodgrass says the club’s “absolutely exceptional” supporters can provide a definite help in the bid to stay up.

“Well-known for it”

Speaking to Boyle Sports, who offer the latest football betting, Snodgrass said: “What Leeds United have are absolutely exceptional fans that get right behind the team and support them all the way.

“They sing when you're losing, sing when you're winning. The city is well-known for it. They're so fanatical about their club as well.

"So I think that rapport always helps, especially with them starting the way they've started, and not being in the relegation zone. They've had some good wins.”
