Leeds United are currently enjoying their best run of form of the season after a seven-game unbeaten run helped Daniel Farke’s men move eight points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
The Whites had experienced mixed fortunes in the early months of their return to the top flight - but a much-improved second-half display against Manchester City in November, coupled with a slight tweak in system from Farke, has inspired an upturn in form and made Leeds more difficult to break down for opposition managers.
Since the loss at the Etihad Stadium, the Whites have drawn five and won two of their next seven games and will now hope to extend their unbeaten run with a positive result at Newcastle United on Wednesday night.
Ahead of the trip to the North East, the YEP takes a look at what other managers across the Premier League have been saying about Leeds during the first half of the season.

3. Eddie Howe - Newcastle United
Ahead of a goalless draw at Elland Road, Howe said: "Every time we have been to Elland Road, we have experienced the atmosphere their fans try to create. The start of the game is going to be very important for us. They have invested in a lot of good players. I love going to Elland Road - it is a stadium full of emotion, and we'll need to use that emotion this weekend." | Getty Images

4. Marco Silva - Fulham
After a late win against Leeds, Silva said: "A tight game, very difficult in some moments to break them down. We felt right away that the changes Daniel made to be much more conservative, they had good organisation. First half, we were too slow. We didn’t take many risks in our decision. We didn’t create enough. The game was very balanced. I think second half, we were much better. much more dynamic. Fatigue in these moments for both teams can make it more open." | Getty Images

5. Andoni Iraola - Bournemouth
Speaking after a 2-2 draw in September, the Cherries boss said: "It's a good feeling when you score in stoppage time. It was a physical game because they have Calvert-Lewin and Longstaff, players that can punish us in every set piece. All of their goals came from set-plays. It was a game with big fights, it was quite physical and not too clean. There weren't many clear chances." | JUSTIN TALLIS / AFP via Getty Images

6. Thomas Frank - Tottenham Hotspur
On Spurs win at Elland Road: "I've been in the Championship for many years, so I know how difficult a league it is and I always respect it. So, any weaknesses? I think before this game, and I think it's the same today, they concede very little chances on the XG. So, if you look at the XG today, also in that sense they concede very little. I think the one that maybe is hidden a little bit from the performance today is the thing that we had five or six top situations where we flashed the ball across the box, where we need to be there. Then it's maybe two goals and an XG of two. I think I rather want to praise Leeds. I think they were good today. I think they were difficult to play against. I think they defended well and I felt they were very brave also on the ball." | AFP via Getty Images
