Leeds United are in Carabao Cup action on Tuesday night with a second trip to Nottingham Forest in quick succession on the cards. Daniel Farke’s side won their Premier League game at the City Ground 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a late Anton Stach free-kick.
Speaking on Monday, Farke suggested there will be a few changes made to his starting line-up for the cup clash with just three days to recover and prepare. Tuesday night could provide a chance for new signings, those on the fringes or any young prospects to stake their claim for more minutes.
Farke will be keen to reach the third round of the Carabao Cup for the first time as Leeds boss, but not at the cost of any serious injury. And with that in mind, the YEP has attempted to predict how the Leeds boss could line up.

2. GK: James Trafford
A position that should be able to cope with the quick turnaround and as a new signing, Trafford just needs to keep playing. The 23-year-old looked decent on Saturday and distribution will only improve as he gets more used to his new surroundings. | AFP via Getty Images

3. CB: James Justin
Farke can't really rotate his entire outfield unit, and Justin feels like one of a few durable enough to manage both games. It could be that Joe Rodon is rested, given his hybrid role is the most physically demanding in the back three. | AFP via Getty Images

4. CB: Nico Elvedi
Tuesday night feels like a good chance for Elvedi to make his debut, replacing Jaka Bijol who is rested. The 29-year-old will benefit from a chance to adapt to Premier League physicality without it actually being a Premier League game. | Leeds United

5. CB: Tarik Muharemovic
Another like Trafford who will benefit from just getting more minutes alongside new teammates. Could also be handed the chance to form a brand new relationship with Elvedi. | AFP via Getty Images

6. RWB: Daniel James
Farke has some wriggle room at wing-back but it probably involves playing a natural winger. Welshman James will certainly cover the ground needed and is natural in hugging the touchline. | Getty Images
