Leeds United are in Carabao Cup action on Tuesday night with a second trip to Nottingham Forest in quick succession on the cards. Daniel Farke’s side won their Premier League game at the City Ground 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a late Anton Stach free-kick.
Speaking on Monday, Farke suggested there will be a few changes made to his starting line-up for the cup clash with just three days to recover and prepare. Tuesday night could provide a chance for new signings, those on the fringes or any young prospects to stake their claim for more minutes.
Farke will be keen to reach the third round of the Carabao Cup for the first time as Leeds boss, but not at the cost of any serious injury. And with that in mind, the YEP has attempted to predict how the Leeds boss could line up.

7. CM: Ethan Ampadu
Ampadu's importance amid rotation elsewhere was on show during last season's FA Cup run, with the skipper keeping standards high. Farke could make a few changes but he won't want to throw this tie at all, so it's important a few key cogs remain in the side. | Getty Images

8. CM: Sean Longstaff
Anton Stach did look a little sluggish before his match-winner on Saturday and there's no need to rush him into a second start. Longstaff looked decent in pre-season and should have the legs to partner Ampadu competently. | Getty Images

9. LWB: Jayden Lienou
If there is a time to test Lienou's capability against top-flight opposition without the pressure of Premier League football, it's now. Leeds are light on senior left-sided cover but the young Welshman is highly-regarded. | Leonardo Fernandez/Getty Images

10. RW: Harry Wilson
Another new signing who needs to keep playing, with Wilson already building good relationships but yet to find that end-product. More than durable enough to play Saturday-Tuesday, you'd expect, and came off around the hour mark last weekend. | Getty Images

11. LW: Willy Gnonto
With Noah Okafor still not fully ready to start and Brenden Aaronson in the XI last weekend, the cup clash could give Gnonto a chance to get his campaign underway. Would love to get a goal under his belt nice and early. | Getty Images

12. ST: Lukas Nmecha
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will surely be rested, as he often was in the cup last season, and Nmecha was sharp in front of goal through the summer. Scored at the City Ground last season. | Getty Images
