Leeds United gaining support for Nottingham Forest opener with backing for Whites attacker
Leeds United begin their second season back in the Premier League with Saturday afternoon's clash at Nottingham Forest.
Leeds United are gaining support for their first game of the new Premier League season at Nottingham Forest with backing for a Whites attacker.
Daniel Farke's Whites will begin their second season back in the country's top flight with Saturday afternoon's 3pm kick-off at Forest side who finished two places below Leeds last year in coming fifth-bottom.
Leeds finished on three more points than Forest en route to their 14th-placed finish yet the bookies initially made a strong call in making the Reds strong favourites for Saturday's visit of the Whites.
Under new boss Oliver Glasner, Forest were as short as 6-5 with some firms and no bigger than 11-8 whereas Leeds could be backed at 9-4. The draw was on offer at 5-2.
Leeds, though, have been supported in the betting market with Daniel Farke’s Whites now as short as 19-10 with some firms and Forest now available at 7-5, albeit still favourites.
Forest have four of the first five players in the any time scorer market which is headed by ex-Leeds striker Chris Wood at 19-10.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, though, has also attracted support and is next best at 9-4, challenging for favouritsim.
A 1-1 draw is favourite in the correct score market at 6-1 but followed by a 1-0 win for Forest at 17-2 and then 2-1 win for the Reds at 9s.
Leeds can be backed at 11-1 to leave with a 1-0 success or 12s to take all three points with a 2-1 win.
A 2-0 Whites triumph is on offer at 18s but Forest are only 12s to win by the same scoreline.
