Tight call made on Leeds United Carabao Cup clash at Nottingham Forest and penalties prospects
A tight call on Leeds United’s second round Carabao Cup clash at Nottingham Forest.
A tight call has been on made on Leeds United’s second round Carabao Cup clash at Nottingham Forest who are seen as narrow favourites to book their place in round three.
Leeds and Forest are locking horns at the City Ground for the second time in four days in Tuesday night’s cup clash, hot on the heels of Saturday’s 1-0 win for Daniel Farke’s Whites in the Premier League opener.
The bookies, though, just about favour Forest’s chances in the cup clash rematch although there is very little between Oliver Glasner’s Reds and Farke’s Whites in the odds.
In the market that matters most, to qualify, Forest are 8-11 whereas Leeds are 6-5.
In the 90-minute market, Forest are a best priced 13-10 with United available at 23-10, the draw seen as distinct possibility at 12-5.
Forest striker Chris Wood heads the any time scorer market but only just at 39-20, narrowly ahead of teammate Arnaud Kalimuendo at 2-1 and then Whites no 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin at 9-4.
A 1-1 draw is clear favourite in the correct score market at 6-1.
Forest are 6-5 to win in 90 minutes, Leeds 11-5 to seal progression in normal time. The game would go straight to penalties in the event of a draw and both sides are 5-1 to win on spot kicks.
