"Definitely top three" - Ex-Leeds United ace's huge claim about new Whites star and Bournemouth prediction

A former Leeds United ace on a new Whites star and Saturday’s clash at Bournemouth.

Former Leeds United defender Matt Kilgallon has served up huge praise for new Whites centre-back star Tarik Muharemovic accompanied with a bold Bournemouth score prediction.

Eyebrows were raised as Leeds spent a big fee of £34m to sign Bosnia and Herzegovina international centre-back Muharemovic from Sassuolo in the summer after just one season of regular top league top flight football in Serie A.

Muharemovic, though, has immediately impressed, so much so that Kilgallon believes the Bosnian is now definitely among the three best centre-halves in the division.

Muharemovic and Leeds now face a particularly tough test in their next Premier League game as they take on in-form Bournemouth on the south coast on Saturday but Kilgallon has been hugely impressed with Daniel Farke’s side and is confidently predicting a 2-0 win against the Cherries

"It depends what Bournemouth turn up,” said Kilgallon to the YEP.

"They can play some good football.

"I can only see a Leeds United win”

"But Leeds United should have too much.

"I can only see a Leeds United win and playing like they have been, they won't change their style of playing.

"They'll go and have a go and what I love now about Leeds United is that they have got the squad now where they can change a few players.

"They still need another striker I feel to help (Dominic) Calvert-Lewin out in January maybe.

"But all over the pitch, centre halves can come in, you see (Jaka) Bijol coming in, probably man of the match at Sunderland, hasn't played for four or five games.

"They can move it around, you can bring other midfielders in, change things, bring Okafor on.

"It's a very very strong squad now Leeds United.

"For me, not going to be easy going away in the Premier League but 2-0 win Leeds United."

As a former centre-half himself, Kilgallon said of Muharemovic: "I tell you what he's been, he's been unbelievable.

"What a signing he is, casual on the ball, he can play in that back three and push (Gabi) Gudmundsson on because he's comfortable one v one, he doesn't need protection around him.

“In the Premier League now he is definitely top three”

"He's an absolute Rolls Royce, some of the balls he plays from defence into the strikers, what a signing he is.

"Set pieces - deadly, will go header it.

"I think he's got two assists from getting his head on it first or causing mayhem.

"Defending wise, he will go and head his grandma, he's not afraid to do anything.

"He is one of the best centre halves I have seen for Leeds United and in the Premier League now he is definitely top three."
