Leeds are reportedly interested in Villarreal striker Boulaye Dia. The Senegal international is currently on loan at Salernitana and has caught the eye in Italy. According to a report by Italian news outlet CalcioMercato, Marsch’s men are keen along with fellow top flight teams West Ham United and Nottingham Forest.

Target latest

Blackburn Rovers apparently intend to retain the services of Ben Brereton-Diaz in January, even if it means they lose him for free next summer. The Whites were linked with a move for him in the last transfer window but he ended up staying at Ewood Park. His contract expires in June 2023 but his current club will ‘keep’ hold of him this winter, as reported by The Sun.

Former coach wins first game

Former Leeds coach Carlos Corberan has won his first game in charge of West Brom. The Spaniard was beaten on his debut against Sheffield United last Saturday but saw his new side beat Blackpool 1-0 on Tuesday evening. The 39-year-old, who spent four years at Elland Road, was chosen by the Baggies as the man to replace Steve Bruce last month.
