"We'll start" - Jayden Bogle in confident Leeds United declaration ahead of Tottenham visit with warning
Leeds United right back Jayden Bogle on Saturday’s visit of Tottenham.
Whites star Jayden Bogle has issued a confident Leeds United message ahead of Saturday’s visit of Tottenham Hotspur with a “tiny details” belief and warning.
Bogle’s men began their second season back in the Premier League with three wins and two draws from their first five games but Leeds have now gone five games without a win ahead of Saturday’s visit of a Spurs side who have now won three in a row.
Bogle, though, believes that only tiny details have prevented his men from bagging more wins which the right back is confident will be forthcoming when United click particularly in the final third.
The right back admits Saturday’s visitors Spurs are a team with fantastic players but the defender has warned that Leeds are confident in their own right ahead of Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
"I still think we're in a good place now," said Bogle as quoted by Leeds United’s official website.
"But it's just, like people said after the game, the fine margins with the decision-making, probably in the final third, just to turn those draws into wins and take those chances when we can.
"But I think the morale of the group and the confidence and everything is still there.
“We're still 100 per cent behind each other and the staff and we'll still want to give everything for the club. And I just think it's those tiny details, and especially in the final third. If we can click, we'll start turning the majority of those draws into wins."
Sizing up the task in store against Tottenham, Bogle admitted: “I think you have to be respectful of the fact that they're a big club with fantastic players.
“But again, it's so early in the league. Everyone's close together. You can't really pay too much attention to league position at the moment. We're full of confidence. I'm sure they'll be full of confidence. I think it'll be a good game.
“We're working on those fine details to just almost click in the final third and get those goals flowing again because we haven't scored as much as we'd probably want to at the moment. We're working on that to be the best in that aspect and hopefully the rest takes care of itself."
