Leeds United are back on the road this weekend when they travel to Brighton for their third Premier League clash of the season. Daniel Farke’s side have a perfect away record across all competitions so far, winning twice at Nottingham Forest in league and cup.
A 1-1 draw at home to Brentford last Sunday also kept Leeds’ unbeaten start to the campaign alive but it came at a cost, with Joe Rodon suffering a hamstring injury. Fortunately, the transfer window was still open and two new faces have arrived in West Yorkshire since.
Hosts Brighton have a mounting injury list to contend with including a former Elland Road favourite. Below, the YEP rounds up the latest team news from both sides including any debut chances for four deadline day arrivals.

7. DOUBT: Yasin Ayari
The midfielder was a surprise absence from the squad at Chelsea, with boss Hurzeler revealing a last-minute injury after full-time. But the Swedish international is expected to be fit in time for Saturday. | Getty Images

8. DEBUT CHANCE: Femi Azeez
Brighton signed the winger from Millwall in a £15m deadline day deal. Leeds will remember his Elland Road brace in an FA Cup meeting during the 2024/25 season. | Getty Images

9. DEBUT CHANCE: Chema Andres
The Spanish midfielder also joined Brighton on deadline day, with Stuttgart receiving around £15.5m. He could be in line to feature if Hurzeler decides. | AFP via Getty Images

10. OUT: Mateo Joseph
Joseph's Mallorca loan last season was cut short by a serious knee injury and he's expected to still be some way off recovering. Farke also suggested recently there will be no place in future plans for those who weren't regularly used in the previous campaign. | Rafa Babot/Getty Images

11. DOUBT: Ilia Gruev
The midfielder has been out since April with a knee injury but as of last week, had been in team training for almost a fortnight. Barring any setbacks, he could be available again this weekend. | Getty Images

12. DOUBT: Joe Rodon
A huge blow for Leeds, who last weekend lost Rodon to what looked to be a hamstring injury against Brentford. As we're yet to get an update, it's not possible to rule the Welshman out entirely but it would take a minor miracle for him to be available this weekend. | Getty Images
