The YEP's chief football writer Graham Smyth hands out the scores after a clinical performance against the Cottagers.
1. Illan Meslier
7 - Dealt well with the shots that came his way. Better protected this week
2. Luke Ayling
7 - A difficult first half but enjoyed the second far more. Not as involved in an attacking sense as usual.
3. Liam Cooper
7 - Backs to the wall in the first half but the centre of defence was rarely unlocked. Influence grew in the second half.
4. Ben White
8 - Recovered from an elbow early on, had his hands full with Mitrovic but eventually won the arm wrestle and had the striker in his pocket.
5. Stuart Dallas
7 - Similar to his fellow full-back. Given a tricky time by Knockaert, still restricted him to mostly long range shots.
6. Kalvin Phillips
8 - Another whose influence grew as the game went on. Stuck to Cairney pretty well in the first half. Got on the ball more in the second, to good effect.
