Gjanni Alioski loving life at Leeds United as North Macedonian hails "best thing" in Premier League

GJANNI Alioski says he is loving life at Leeds United and that playing against Europe's elite in the Premier League is the best thing he could have.

The North Macedonian international is half way through his fourth season at Leeds having joined the club from Swiss side Lugano back in July 2017.

Alioski's current Whites deal is up in the summer but Leeds are keen to keep the 28-year-old at the club and contract talks are ongoing.

Asked how much he was enjoying his football at United in an interview with BBC Radio Leeds, Alioski beamed: "I love it here to play with this team.

"To play with this style that we play with is amazing and I am improving every day and learning something every day.

"It's the best thing you can have in the Premier League to play against teams that have players in the squad that are one of the best in Europe.

"You can play against them to show them who you are and it's nice how we perform together and how strong we are together as a team.

"It's nice to be a part."
