  • RESULT: Brighton 0-0 Leeds United

23. An attack from Leeds down the right. Forshaw feeds Dallas, he cuts back onto his left foot and hits the deck. Free-kick. Raphinha steps up...

25. Of sorts... Raphinha curls the free-kick at goal. It hits a Brighton head and flies to the back post. James arrives too late. He gets there but can’t keep it down.

26. He’s already been booked. He may be on his final warning, Lamptey is giving him the absolute runaround on the far side. The Seagulls man delivers and Trossard sees a low shot blocked. More pressure from the hosts.

29. It’s been a pretty bad opening half hour or so for Leeds so far. Just not working. Brighton the team on top. Leeds mustering rare surges forward but have no teeth up front. Raphinha looking most likely to create.

30. Better. United knock it around in the Seagulls half, Harrison delivers low to the back post and it’s hooked away. Need more of that. Just some danger would be nice...

32. Brighton down United’s right, again. Trossard finds space, he unleashes a shot from the middle of the box and Meslier reacts really well to get down low to stop the effort.

BRIGHTON HIT THE POST

34. Moder gets into the Leeds box... Llorente follows him. He’s all the way to the byline, has nothing on and shoots anyway. It smashes the outside of the post. It was never going in but it’s more pressure. Leeds still offering very little.

36, Lamptey, who is causing real bother and has done all half. He races down the right, delivers and Maupay gets in front of Llorente. His volley, though, is wide. Another huge, huge let off for Leeds who were again caught asleep.

37. Gross delivers, there’s a scramble and a free-kick is given for Leeds as two bodies hit the deck. Well, it’s kept out... that’s pretty much it. Not too many positives to report for Leeds tonight.

Brighton want a penalty

39. A cross comes in, Cooper slides to block it and the ball sneaks under him and hits his arm but nothing given.
