The March international break looks to have come at a good time for Leeds United as Daniel Farke’s side re-boot for a massive eight-game promotion run-in. One win in four has seen their lead at the top of the Championship cut from five points to goal difference alone, but there is still confidence they can get the job done.
Leeds are on course to comfortably top 90 points in what has been another excellent campaign, and while this year’s team has more balance than the previous one, there have still been a few top performers. But who would make it into the Championship Team of the Season?
Well, the YEP has put together a line-up that, according to WhoScored.com, has performed the most consistently over the course of the season so far, with two Whites stars joining others from the likes of Sheffield United, Sunderland and Burnley. Take a look below to see who has made the cut.

7. CM: Vinicius Souza (Sheffield United) - 7.14
Has been an absolutely massive miss during periods of injury and that is perhaps the greatest measure of his quality. One of the first names on Chris Wilder's teamsheet when fit and a rock in midfield. | Getty Images

8. CM: Finn Azaz (Middlesbrough) - 7.07
Became the first Championship player to reach double figures for goals and assists earlier this month and is the man who keeps Middlesbrough's attack ticking. Only Hayden Hackney has more league minutes for Michael Carrick's side. | Getty Images

9. LM: Borja Sainz (Norwich City) - 7.26
Outright top-scorer in the Championship as things stand with 17 goals, and that's despite missing five games due to a ban. Already has two hat-tricks to his name this season, against Derby County and Plymouth Argyle. | Mike Egerton/PA Wire

10. ST: Josh Maja (West Brom) - 6.90
Has cruelly been out injured since January but was right on track to challenge Sainz for the Golden Boot, with 12 goals in 26 games. His return would be a welcome boost for West Brom in their pursuit of play-off football. | Getty Images

11. ST: Joel Piroe (Leeds United) - 6.90
Sainz's closest challenger for that top-scorer title, with 15 goals an improvement on last season's tally. Has made the No.9 spot his own and will hope his goals can propel Leeds into the Premier League. | Getty Images
