Down the decades Leeds United has taken on a number of trialists all keen to make the grade and make their mark in the first team and on Whites supporters. 1. February 1984
This is Aussie footballer Dean Milosevic who in 1984 gave up a good job and paid his fare to England to get a trial with Leeds United. He played in the Central League game against Sunderland Reserves.
2. November 1989
This is Norwegian international Goran Sorloth in action for Leeds United's reserves. The striker failed to impress on trial and went onto play for Borussia Mnchengladbach and Rosenborg. Was capped 55 times by Norway.
3. March 1990
This is goalkeeper Alessandro Nista, who played for Pisa in Italy's Second Division. He spent more than a month on trial at Elland Road.
4. July 1990
These are Israeli internationals Shalom Tikva (left) and Eli O'Hana who met Howard Wilkinson when they arrived at Elland Road to begin a trial.
