Superstar bikers and fans are getting revved up for the first ever motorcycle event at First Direct Bank Arena Leeds.

This is indoor motorcycling at its most extreme – world-class riders defying gravity over towering obstacles with breathtaking balance, precision, and control in a thrilling, high-adrenaline battle of pure skill and nerve.

Eight World class riders will face a new for British fans format, with the best three riders from the qualification heat transferring directly to the final.
The last remaining place in the main event will be decided amongst the other five riders who will battle it out in a winner takes all last chance play off. Starting order for the final will be determined by a sprint section before the four finalists work their way through the six sections in the reverse direction.

X-Trial’s top three world ranked riders, automatically guaranteed a place in the final, are the GOAT of the gravity defying sport, 38 times World Champion Toni Bou, along with superstars Jaime Busto and Gabriel Marcelli.
They will be joined by two British wildcards plus three selected riders.
Hoping to make their impact are Leed’s very own World Champions, brothers Harry and George Hemingway - with the latter making his international indoor debut in the series.

Seventeen-year-old George and his elder brother Harry, who will celebrate his twentieth birthday on the day of the event, have won the Trial3 World Championship on three occasions between them, with Harry adding the Trial2 World title to his tally earlier this year.
The Hemingway duo can count on plenty of support, competing in their hometown, when they will be joined by fellow Yorkshireman and current British Champion Jack Peace, as the World series returns to the UK for the first time in ten years.
X-Trial Leeds will be the sixth stop on the World tour having visited Andorra, Spain, an island in the Indian Ocean and Italy prior to arriving at Yorkshire’s premier venue.

The terrifying course, designed and built by Yorkshire’s ex multi–Trial World Champion Dougie Lampkin MBE, will feature obstacles rising four metres above the arena floor.
The final will see four riders tackling death-defying obstacles in the reverse direction to the heat, to determine the eventual winner.

With there being a high probability of the Yorkshire trio being amongst the front runners, X-Trial Leeds will provide the perfect opportunity for local fans to support their home heroes on the world stage.
The event is ideal for all ages, with no prior knowledge of the sport being needed to enjoy three hours of non-stop and incredible action within the warmth and comfort of the city centre arena next January.

All full access tickets, which are the ideal Xmas gift, include free entry to the rider autograph session, course preview and the Trial Expo exhibition that will be also hosted in the arena on the same day and ahead of the competition getting underway at 5pm.
