A dog sits on the corner of the street in Hunslet in the late 1960s. The mundane and everyday takes centre stage in this trip down memory lane charting a year in the life of the south Leeds suburb in 1967. The gallery is dominated by row upon row of back to back houses on streets which are sure to be familiar to a generation of those who called the LS10 home back in the day. The images are published courtesy of West Yorkshire Archive Service, which collects and looks after the unique documentary heritage of the region dating from the 12th century to the present day - more than 800 years of local history. It also runs Catablogue, an online blog dedicated to preserving the past, serving the present and protecting the future.
