This writer was part of a Yorkshire Evening Post team who played in the Nicholas Green Sunday League in the late 1990s and early 2000s against teams such as Shoulder of Mutton, Blenheim Albion, High Farm, White Stag, Ireland Wood Athletic and Cramner Bank. This writer is convinced your YEP band of brothers held the league record for the highest win -22-0 against Republica Highland at Glen Road back in the day. These wonderful photos of match action, plucked from the YEP archive, showcase the highs and lows, the agony and ecstasy and the drama and laughs from playing days this writer will never forget.
