Freedom Mills, a new gallery and event space in Kirkstall Road, was supposed to open on Boxing Day but was washed out by floods.

So did the people behind this project give up? Not a chance. They got on with putting it right.

Now it’s ready to open again with work by Inkie, no less (he is Banksy’s right-hand man) and plenty of others who put heart into their art.
