Woman hurt in collision near Thornbury roundabout
A person suffered serious head injuries in a collision with a car at Thornbury roundabout.
The incident involved a grey Audi A3 and happened at about 3.30pm yesterday on Leeds Road. The road was subsequently closed, causing large tailbacks, before reopening at around 6pm.
The injured woman was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
A police spokesman said the person’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
