It played host to an Emmerdale TV soap cast party and Leeds Warrior boxer Josh Warrington not only eats there...they’ve named a Rogan Josh Warrington curry after him.

Bengal Brasserie, the latest addition to Leeds’ flourishing city centre restaurant scene, serves up authentic Bengali and Indian food with a modern slant.

House specialities include freshly prepared murg mohoni, chicken deshi and a range of korai dishes created by acclaimed executive chef Mohon Miah. The restaurant fuses interior design influences of traditional Indian craftsmanship with Yorkshire urban chic.

Just yards from Leeds First Direct Arena, proving popular for pre or post show dining, it seats 110 diners, in the Merrion Centre.
