Numerous vehicles have been stopped and drivers have been educated about using their fog lights on the M62.

Police said visibility is less than 200 metres between junctions 21 and 26.

Officers are also saying that motorists are still driving too quickly for the conditions and that "70mph is a limit and not a target".
