Leeds weather forecast: Sunny start to a weekend of mild temperatures

The mild temperatures in Leeds are set to continue this weekend as the city gradually warms up after a freezing couple of months.

This afternoon (Friday) there will continue to be sunny intervals, with the weather remaining dry into the evening.

Temperatures will drop to around 4C overnight.

On Saturday, any mist or fog will lift early leaving plenty of sunshine.

Some cloud is likely to develop during the afternoon, but bright spells will persist between patches of cloud throughout the day, with temperatures reaching around 11C.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, but there will be a few sunny spells, with temperatures reaching around 10C.

Monday will start cloudy but increasing sunshine is expected through the afternoon.

Tuesday will be bright with plenty of sunshine and just some patchy cloud.
