Wakefield College closes due to severe weather
Wakefield College is closing its doors as 'Beast from the East' batters the district with heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures.
A spokesman for the college said: "Due to the inclement weather and forecast for further snow, the college has made the decision to close all campuses. Buildings will remain open until 12pm to give people enough time to make travel arrangements."
