Live updates as M62 crash near Leeds causes seven miles of queuing traffic

A crash on the M62 has caused severe delays near Leeds this morning.

The crash happened on the M62 Westbound between Junction 28 at Dewsbury Road (Tingley) and Junction 27 for the M621 (Gildersome).

Traffic is now queuing for seven miles, the RAC reports, due to the crash.

The delays are adding 25 minutes onto journey times.
