Traffic delays after crash near Armley pub

The crash happened on Wortley Road, by the Commercial pub, early on Friday morning.

Bus operator First West Yorkshire said the 15 service was diverting via Carr Crofts , Tong Road and Whingate in both directions.

There is a heavy traffic build-up in the area, according to AA Traffic.

Traffic signal have also failed a short distance away on Silver Royd Hill at Pipe And Nook Lane.

Elsewhere, on the outskirts of Leeds, there has been a serious crash on the bridge going over the River Wharfe in Pool-in-Wharfedale.
