Traffic blocked and buses delayed after man in his 70s hit by car in Bramley

Traffic has been held and buses delayed in Bramley after a man was hit by a car at a crossing.

West Yorkshire Police were called to reports of a crash on Town Street at 11.10am.

A man, 75, had been hit by a black Renault Clio.

He suffered minor injuries and paramedics attended and treated him at the scene.

The road was blocked while emergency services attended the scene and First Bus reported that all services through Bramley were delayed.

The road has since reopened and buses are expected to return to their normal route shortly.
