Overnight M62 disruption near Leeds as police vehicle bursts into flames
The M62 closed westbound after a police vehicle caught fire
A vehicle fire late on Monday caused overnight disruption on a motorway near Leeds.
Emergency services were called to Junction 28 (Tingley Interchange) of the M62 at about 11.15pm yesterday (November 2) after a police vehicle caught fire.

Police closed both westbound carriageways of the motorway at the junction while they dealt with the incident.
No one was injured, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.
According to the AA, the exit slip road remains closed at the time of publication.
The M62 has since reopened, but traffic is moving more slowly between Tingley and Normanton with delays of around two minutes.
