Drivers facing delays on major Leeds route due to faulty traffic lights
Drivers are being warned of delays on the A660 Woodhouse Lane near the University of Leeds
Motorists are facing queuing traffic on a major route in and out of Leeds city centre due to faulty temporary traffic signals.
Congestion has built in both directions along the A660 Woodhouse Lane near the junction with St Mark's Street, directly adjacent to the University of Leeds campus.

According to AA Roadwatch, the delays are being caused by temporary traffic lights that are failing to cycle correctly, leading to tailbacks for vehicles travelling in both directions.
The A660 is a primary commuter corridor connecting Headingley, Hyde Park, and Woodhouse directly with the city centre.
As a result of the faulty signals, tailbacks are affecting both inbound traffic towards the city and outbound travel towards Hyde Park.
Bus passengers using services along the Woodhouse Lane corridor - including key routes connecting the university district to central Leeds - are also advised to expect localized delays to timetabled arrivals.
Drivers travelling through the area are advised to allow extra journey time or seek alternative routes, such as Clay Pit Lane or Hanover Way where possible.
