Construction work worth £46.1 million is continuing to take place at the entrance of Leeds City Station.
The transformation project, which began in 2022, plans to pedestrianise New Station Street and install two new passenger lifts from Bishopgate Street.
As well as this, it will install a new ‘Welcome to Leeds’ clocktower and steps to access the station.
The construction work was initially scheduled to be completed in September 2025, however, delays have pushed this date back by almost 12 months.
Now the project is on track to be completed by late summer 2026.
Here’s 13 photos which show how the station looks right now.
