Key Battle - Leon Best v Gaetano Berardi

Best played and scored in Rotherham’s last game, a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town, and he is set to start up front again on Saturday. That would put him in close proximity to Berardi, the defender whose nose he split open with an elbow at Elland Road in November. That incident led to red cards for both players but Rotherham in particular cannot afford the same lack of discipline with their season in the balance. As a whole, Leeds’ defence has questions to answer after a dodgy outing against Huddersfield.

Key Man - Lee Camp

The experienced goalkeeper had a fine game when Rotherham beat Leeds in November and his form has been a key factor in the Millers’ revival under Neil Warnock. Even in a 3-3 draw with Derby - a match in which Rotherham came from 3-0 down - Camp kept his side in the game with a series of impressive saves and Leeds should not expect any help from him.

Phil Hay’s Verdict:

Catching Rotherham at the wrong time? Possibly. The club have grown some teeth under Neil Warnock and their current form - four wins from five games - has given them every chance of avoiding relegation. The notable improvement has come in Rotherham’s defence. To date they’ve conceded 62 league goals but their past four games have yielded four clean sheets. Leeds, however, should have the scope to play on the counter against a side who still need points.
