REVEALED: How much your Leeds council tax bill will increase under proposed 3.99% rise

The rise would increase the monthly bill paid by each household.

The Yorkshire Evening Post has asked Leeds Council for specific figures about how YOU will be affected - and the authority has provided this breakdown for each tax band.

If the 3.99% increase is approved, the new charges will come into effect from April 1, 2017.

The police and fire precepts - extra money asked for by the emergency services to cover their costs - have not yet been announced for next year. They may stay the same or they could rise, giving an even larger total bill than these below.
