Holdsworth Pro Cycling’s sports director Dean Downing and rider Jake Womersley took time out from preparing for next week’s Tour de Yorkshire to visit Middleton Park Bike Hub. The duo donated cycles to the organisation, which is one of 49 Yorkshire Bank bike libraries aiming to give every child in the county access to a bike.

Womersley, from Mirfield, near Dewsbury, said: “I can’t wait for the Tour de Yorkshire to start. Competing in front of home fans is a dream come true.”

The Tour begins next Thursday and ends in Leeds on Sunday, May 6.
