Power cut Leeds: Homes in Morley affected as power goes down

Homes in Leeds have been left without power this evening (Saturday).

An unplanned outage is affecting the LS14,LS27 and WF3 postcodes, according to Northern Powergrid

It was reported at around 9pm - and the power is not expected to be back on until 4.30am.

Around 120 homes are affected.

Northern Powergrid said in an update on its website: "We are currently working hard to restore your power however we are unable to provide an accurate restoration time. Please call us on 105 if you have any specific questions.

"The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the electricity cable that serves your area."
