Are you eligible for a cold weather payment?

And because it's still February, you could be eligible to claim Cold Weather Payments to help cover heating costs during the freezing winter months.

If you are currently receiving Pension Credit; Income Support; Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance; Income-related Employment and Support Allowance; Universal Credit or Support for Mortgage Interest, you may qualify.

The cold weather payments are only triggered if the average temperature for your postcode is either forecast to be, or recorded as 0C or below for 7 consecutive days.
