Police were called to Dock Street, Leeds, at 4.22am today following reports that a man had been seen in the river.

A police operation is ongoing as emergency services search the river.

Dock Street and the surrounding area is closed.

West Yorkshire Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything in the area early this morning.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or via the West Yorkshire Police website, quoting log 152 of November 2.
